Despite a slight decline in bitcoin prices in the month of March, the bitcoin job market has shown resilience, with a total of 141 job postings tracked during the month.

According to the latest report from Bitvocation, over half (52%) of these listings came from bitcoin-only companies, highlighting continued momentum in companies building solely on bitcoin.

New Feature Highlights Seniority Levels in Hiring

For the first time, Bitvocation introduced a chart breaking down job listings by seniority — from entry-level roles to executive or partner-level positions.

The data reveals that most roles posted were at the mid-level and managerial tiers, while entry-level positions and unpaid or volunteer opportunities were also noted, especially among early-stage bitcoin-only projects.

Year-over-Year Growth and Global Spread

Compared to the same period last year, March 2025 saw a 4% increase in job postings, signaling stable growth in employment opportunities within the bitcoin ecosystem.

These roles are not confined to any single region, with hotspots identified in North America (particularly the U.S.), Asia (notably Singapore), Europe (Czechia and Gibraltar), and Latin America (led by El Salvador).

Remote Work Maintains Strong Presence

A nearly even split was observed between remote and hybrid/on-site roles, with bitcoin-only companies showing a stronger preference for remote work.

This trend reflects the decentralized nature of bitcoin itself and the industry’s growing inclination toward flexible work environments.

Diverse Opportunities Beyond Development

While developer roles remain important, 106 of the tracked positions were in non-technical fields, representing approximately 75% of all job listings.

This demonstrates a robust demand for talent in areas such as marketing, compliance, operations, and more. Bitcoin-only firms posted 57 non-developer roles, further emphasizing the wide range of career paths available.

Hiring Remains Active Across Company Types

Both established companies and agile startups were active in hiring throughout March. From traditional organizations offering stability to startups promising innovation and speed, candidates have a variety of environments to choose from.

Call for Talent and Integration Opportunities

Bitvocation continues to support both companies and professionals through its POW Lab — a network aimed at making bitcoin talent more discoverable without the typical fees charged by recruitment firms.

Job seekers are encouraged to join, while founders and builders are invited to explore integration opportunities for job data into their own platforms.

For those seeking continuous updates, Bitvocation offers job alerts via Telegram and Nostr bots. The full report, along with charts and visuals, is available through Bitvocation’s Substack and LinkedIn platforms.
