Relai, the Swiss bitcoin savings app, has closed a $2.5 million funding round at a $90 million valuation, the company announced on September 22, 2026.
Co-founder and CEO Julian Liniger shared the news on X, writing: “Relai has raised a $2.5m funding round! We’re building Europe’s Bitcoin Savings Company. I couldn’t be more excited about our next chapter!”
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Switzerland, Relai lets users buy and sell bitcoin in minutes, with no registration or verification required for smaller purchases. The app has positioned itself as the simple on-ramp for everyday Europeans looking to save in bitcoin.
The fresh capital will fuel Relai’s push to become Europe’s bitcoin savings company, expanding its user base across the continent. The company’s official press release, titled “Relai Funding Round: $90 Million Valuation,” is available on relai.app.
This is the latest in a long run of raises for the Swiss startup, which previously secured CHF 2.5 million in 2021, EUR 2.16 million in a 2022 Crowdcube round, $4.5 million in 2023, and a $12 million Series A in December 2024.
