Ivan Glushenkov: “Sovereignty is a basic human right”

Who are you and what’s your mission?

Ivan Glushenkov, building: Sovereign Consumer DAO, Immortality Foundation, Playable Worlds and Life OS.

My mission is to solve human rights violation in finance, data & opinions untill the end of the year by shipping full a sovereignty suite (identity delegation protocol, control & verification system for loyal, self-hosted, open-source AI)

Can you tell us more how you heard about the Plan B Hackathon and your project?

People from the Bitcoin Association Switzerland party on Monday 21st of July told me in and I came by! My project is called Sovereign Suite.

How does your solution ensure true user sovereignty in money, data, and opinion—and what are the technical guarantees behind this sovereignty?

By removing 3d parties and humans from the loop, with 100% on-device agents, control and verification framework.

We have pretty powerful open-source on-device agents, that are by default loyal, but we don’t have developed primitives for these agents to act on our behalf in the real world.

We don’t, observe, control and verify what they are doing, and neither do we have a user friendly access to our own data & digital territory such whatsapp data, iphone usage statistics etc.

You can get such control but for the price of not using any of existing services and going all in out of the system, which is a huge social cost for most people.

With agents its even not necessary anymore, we can have a smooth transition finally.

What mechanisms are in place to ensure the privacy, security, and authenticity of user data, especially in decentralized AI or recommendation systems built on or alongside Bitcoin?

At the moment we remove the agency problem and use oss models, tailored by default on users and only users needs, but in the future TEE and ZK computation will push it even further, enabling not rebellion level of soveregnty, but also a proper response from the big systems.

How do you align incentives between project founders, developers, and end users to avoid agency problems and ensure that recommendation or AI systems remain loyal to the user, not manipulated by centralized entities?

Incentives are currently misaligned in the bigger ecosystem, that’s why we exist and fight back. The goal is for the end user to survive the negative implications of corporatism, and force it to comply with his own interests, not using government as a custodian of change and influence. This becomes easier and easier with ai agents. An agent’s loyalty traceable by weaker isolated models that trace thinking of big ones back, and constantly monitor if they are aligned or not, it’s described in ai-2027.com article

What were major challenges you encountered when integrating Bitcoin-native principles with self-sovereign AI/data infrastructure, and how did you overcome them?

It’s super early, infrastructure exists, but for data & opinions it doesn’t. We partly solved that, this was a hard challenge, managing human in the loop and combining with biometric verification is still hard, because AI is two-directional sword, and simplifies faking identities. I hope all of it will be solved till end of the year by us and the broader OSS community.

How does your project promote resilience, openness, and composability—for example, can other Bitcoin builders easily audit, build upon, or interoperate with your platform, and what open-source practices or licenses do you use?

In every bit of it, we use a lot of other open source tools and we are super thankful to the community. We contribute with the corresponding OSS licenses that they require, we build our things under the strongest pro-open-source version of the license — GNU Affero General Public License v3.0

Of course the bitcoin community is super welcoming and supportive.
