Valletta, Malta, October 28, 2026. Menuvideo, the platform that turns restaurant menus into short videos, now accepts bitcoin through BTCPay Server. The Malta-based startup has partnered with BTCPay Server to integrate bitcoin checkouts with Lightning Network payments on the roadmap.

Menuvideo lets guests scan a QR code on the table and see the menu directly on their phone with a short video for each dish. Venues create the menu from their own photos. It is available in multiple languages, can show allergen information and lets owners update prices, dishes, and specials in one click.

Venues can be online in minutes after payment. At the end of sign-up, venues choose “Pay with bitcoin” and receive a BTCPay Server invoice priced in euros and converted to bitcoin at the current exchange rate when they pay.

Payments are on-chain, with Lightning support in the works. Clients pay once for 12 months. Menuvideo makes no automatic charges and emails reminders before renewal.

“We’ve helped many HORECA operators increase their revenue and now, by integrating BTCPay Server, we provide even more payment options to better serve the bitcoin hospitality segment. Restaurant and hospitality entrepreneurs can now use Menuvideo to improve their guest experience and optimize their menu with real-time data, feedback and analytics,” said Giulio Puglisi, founder and CEO of Menuvideo.

Puglisi also shared that the integration removes the dependency on banks and third-party payment processors: “Working with BTCPay Server was a breeze and we now accept bitcoin payments internationally without the typical friction of banks or processors.”

For security and faster deployment of the new integration, Menuvideo chose to work with IT consultant David Coen. Coen specializes in Bitcoin and Lightning payment infrastructure as well as open-source technologies.

To celebrate the launch, Menuvideo has created a limited bitcoin-only offer for the first 21 partners to register. This includes a generous discount, a “Bitcoin accepted” badge and access to the venue’s BTC Map listing in one tap.

Founding spots are available at menu.video/bitcoin.
