Satlantis Added Stripe. That Changes More Than You Think

Satlantis Adds Fiat Payments via Stripe, Positioning Itself as a Bitcoin Native Alternative to Meetup and Eventbrite

Satlantis, the Bitcoin native events platform built on Lightning, has integrated Stripe for fiat payments. The move is significant: it transforms what was previously a tool for bitcoiners into a platform that any event organizer can use, regardless of whether their audience holds sats.

The core architecture remains unchanged. Every user account, every event, and every calendar on Satlantis comes with a built in Bitcoin Lightning wallet. When an organizer creates an event, a unique wallet is automatically generated for it. Ticket sales settle instantly over Lightning. No merchant accounts. No banking approvals. No geographic restrictions.

What changes with Stripe is the front door. Attendees who have never touched Bitcoin can now buy tickets with a credit card. Organizers can run Bitcoin only events or accept both. The choice is theirs.

For the Lightning community, the interesting piece is the onboarding mechanics. A first timer registers for a local meetup, pays in fiat, and the organizer can then send them sats directly inside the app. The event itself becomes the orange pill.

Satlantis positions itself against Luma, Eventbrite, and Meetup. The pitch: lower fees (the team claims up to 80% cheaper than incumbents), borderless payments, and a complete event stack including ticketing, tiered pricing, coupons, attendee management, and announcement tools. On the user experience side, it resembles Luma more than anything else.

Early traction numbers: over 15,000 people registered for events, 700+ new events in the past three months, and 2,000+ app downloads. Growth has been organic, driven by Bitcoin conferences and meetups.

Organizations like Mi Primer Bitcoin in El Salvador and The Core Africa have already migrated from Luma to Satlantis.

Stablecoin support is expected in Q2 2026.

The app is available on iOS, Android, and desktop. Event organizers can create and monetize events in under a minute.
