Las Palmas, Gran Canaria — November 13, 2025 — Hesperides University recently announced the launch of the Master in Bitcoin, the first English speaking higher education program dedicated exclusively to Bitcoin studies. This marks a milestone in the academic recognition of Bitcoin as a field worthy of rigorous, independent exploration.
While most universities continue to group Bitcoin within broader “crypto” or “blockchain” frameworks, Hesperides University has created an academic space focused solely on Bitcoin — its technology, economics, and societal implications. The Master in Bitcoin is designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, and researchers who want to deepen their understanding of Bitcoin and engage with its growing global economy.
