Women remain vastly underrepresented in bitcoin and digital finance across Africa, not due to a lack of interest, but rather because of barriers to access, limited resources, and a lack of community support. The ABC-Dada Fellowship Program, created by Bitcoin Dada and the Africa Bitcoin Conference, aims to change that.
This initiative is designed to equip African women with the knowledge, tools, and networks to thrive in the bitcoin space. Through mentorship, training, and community-building, the program nurtures a new generation of women who will lead, educate, and build in bitcoin across Africa and beyond.

- An all-expenses-paid trip to the Africa Bitcoin Conference 2025 in Mauritius.

Your Fellowship Journey
Here’s what the journey looks like from selection to impact:
1. Pre-Conference Onboarding
Fellows will participate in virtual sessions to set personal and professional goals before traveling.
2. Conference Immersion (Mauritius)
A rich, in-person experience featuring curated workshops, leadership talks, peer learning, and private networking events.
3. Post-Conference Continuity
The support doesn’t stop after the conference. Fellows will have quarterly check-ins, mentorship extensions, and access to new opportunities within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Who Should Apply?
You should consider applying if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a woman of African descent, residing in Africa or part of the African diaspora.
- You’re between 25 and 40 years old.
- You are passionate about Bitcoin or digital finance.
- You’re a student, developer, entrepreneur, educator, or community advocate.
- You want to make a meaningful contribution to the Bitcoin space and are ready to learn, lead, and connect.
