“Without merchant adoption, Bitcoin fails” – Jack Dorsey

Bitcoin is at a crossroads.
The old powers want to maintain the status-quo.
They seek to capture Bitcoin through tight regulation and control.
If Bitcoin ends up being a store of value and nothing more, it’s at risk to fail.
If it doesn’t transition to payments for everyday use, it becomes irrelevant. And that’s failure.

BUT:

Bitcoin today is more useful for payments than ever before in its entire history.
Lightning and other scaling protocols are quickly gaining traction.
The only missing part is infromation and education.
More merchants need to see the benefits.
21 Million Merchants.
It’s YOUR call.

ABOUT

21M Merchants utilizes a decentralized, cost-efficient, and inspiration-driven leadership protocol for large-scale activism and movements.

It’s based on the book “Swarmwise” and provides a blueprint for creating and leading a “swarm” organization—a large, collaborative effort of volunteers focused on a common, compelling goal, especially when money and traditional resources are scarce.

Key concepts that capture the essence include:

  • Release of Control: The leader’s main role is to set the vision and goals, but they must release control over execution, messaging, and branding. The swarm’s decentralized components are empowered to act autonomously.

  • Leadership by Inspiration and Example: Authority is delegated, and leaders emerge organically based on talent and willingness to step up, rather than by appointment. The core value communicated is trust in the activists to further the mission.

  • Cost-Efficiency and Speed: The decentralized nature of the swarm allows for rapid decision-making, parallel attempts at solutions, and a massive cost advantage over traditional, bureaucratic organizations.

  • Action and Focus: The swarm is united by a clear, visible, and activating mission. Members join to accomplish that specific goal, not for social cohesion.

  • The “Three-Pirate Rule”: A mechanism for rapid action, stating that if three activists agree something is good for the organization, they have the green light to act in its name without seeking permission.
